Everyone wants someone they can count on... Now even though we can't be that in all aspects of your life, we can be that for all your electrical contracting needs. From small home owner service calls and additions, to new & existing  residential or commercial wiring, we do it all. With owner Travis Pollard leading our team of qualified technicians & installers, we will make sure your job is done right. Travis started doing electrical work at the age of 17. Born and raised in rural Johnston county he learned at an early age what real work is. From working on the farm with his grandfather, cutting trees with his father, cropping tobacco, to dragging catfish ponds, he learned that if you want anything out of this life(and respect yourself for how you got it) you have to work for. With that attitude Travis went to work at the age of 17 to support his new young family (daughter Brittany was born when he was 18). The first job he got after having to drop out of high school was as an electricians helper. He worked his way from a $5.00 per hour helper to a lead electrician by the age of 19. From that point he took his responsibility and his job very personal. He managed complete jobs from the age of 20 till the age of 23, when he got his electrical licenses and started his own business. He started LightHouse Electric Inc. in 1999 as single man outfit and grew the company to over 50 employees by 2007. During that time LightHouse Electric Inc wired more than 3000 homes and over 100 commercial projects( from churches, restaurants, bank, Dr.offices, to dog kennels) in the Raleigh, Durham, Cary, & Fayetteville areas. With the extreme crash of the economy in 2009 Travis & LightHouse took a huge hit, with builders going under leaving debts unpaid, just survival became almost impossible. Travis (like many others) had to find a new source of work and income. With a weighted heart he moved to the coast and started focusing on work in the Jacksonville area. With the same attitude that got it all started (that if you want something you have to work for it) Travis started picking up more working in the coastal area. Today Lighthouse Electric NC Inc has done over 1000 homes and several commercial jobs in the coastal area from South Port, Wilmington, Jacksonville, to New Bern and all points in between.
